Australian Travel

Brisbane Airport (BNE) is the primary international airport serving Brisbane and South East Queensland. The course is held at the Airport Conference Centre, located very close the airport.

Walking

• The Brisbane Airport Conference Centre is conveniently located 650m from the domestic terminal in the heart of the airport precinct. This equates to a 4-minute walk from the domestic terminal. Simply follow the Skywalk and signed covered pathway to the complex.

Taxi

• The taxi ranks are just outside the domestic & international terminals. The estimated fare is about $AU15 - $22 depending on the day, time & traffic from the domestic airport to the conference center, and some people have been refused a fare for the short distance in the past.

Uber

• Ensure you are standing at a designated Uber pickup point which will be indicated on your Uber app. An Uber will cost approximately $AU14 - $18; fares will be affected by travel time and tolls.

Train

• Catch the Airport train from Central to Brisbane Domestic Airport. Travel time is approximately 35 minutes.
• From the Domestic airport station, you will have a short 600m walk to the conference center

Uber

• Ensure you are standing at a designated Uber pickup point which will beindicated on your Uber app. An Uber will cost approximately $AU28 - $36; fares will be affected by travel time and tolls.

Taxi

• The estimated fare is about $AU38 - $54 depending on the day, time & traffic.

If you plan on using the local public transport system, Translink, it is advisable to purchase a GoCard. The GoCard is available online, at the airport, or at a number of Brisbane newsagents and retailers. You can load money onto the GoCard and use it to travel on all Translink services. Alternatively, there are ticketing machines at every station.

Occasionally, a credit card transaction will be declined by your bank because of the amount of the charge or the location it is coming from. Please follow these tips to prepare to pay your deposit and balance when registering for a class:

• Verify that your credit limit is set to accept the payment amount in US dollars
• Notify your issuing bank that an international transaction is coming from Canine Rehabilitation Institute

Please note:

Wire transfers are an acceptable payment method; however, they are costly, and the details are cumbersome. CRI's wire transfer fee will add $75 to your tuition balance. Furthermore, your bank will most likely add a wire transfer fee.
