The Osteoarthritis Symposium

Join us for an in-depth review of osteoarthritis pathology, diagnosis, and treatment options for your patients. The third day consists of joint injection labs so you can feel confident adding this valuable skill to your practice.

Course Description

This spectacular course will review the latest in osteoarthritis pathophysiology, diagnosis, and treatment options, including pharmacological interventions, oral supplements, biologics, therapeutic exercise, and physical modalities. Day three of the course will consist of hands-on labs with ample time to review anatomy and proper joint injection techniques. Students will leave feeling confident to perform joint injections in their daily practice.

Prerequisites:

This course is open to veterinarians. No previous rehabilitation certifications are required; we welcome all skill levels. Physical Therapists who are canine rehabilitation certified are also welcome to attend. PTs can take an active role in days 1 & 2 of the course and observe the joint injection portion of the course to gain a better understanding of joint injection procedures.
