Rehabilitation Certified Veterinarian or Diplomate American College of Veterinary Sports Medicine & Rehabilitation

Job Summary:

We are seeking a full-time Rehabilitation-Certified Veterinarian or DACVSMR to join our small but mighty team.

Momentum Veterinary Sports Medicine & Rehabilitation is a standalone, privately owned specialty practice in Springfield, Missouri. We prioritize pain management, functional mobility, and conditioning to help our patients live healthy, fulfilling lives.

We have all the bells and whistles a busy VSMR practice needs:

• Objective Gait Analysis system (Zebris)

• Digital Radiography

• Musculoskeletal Ultrasound

• Two therapeutic exercise gyms

• Class IIIB and Class IV Lasers

• Electrohydraulic and Piezoelectric Shockwave Therapy

• PEMF Therapy

• Theraplate for Whole-Body Vibration Therapy

• Land Treadmill

• Underwater Treadmill

• Quiet space for Acupuncture and Restorative Therapy

• PRP and BMAC system

• Therapeutic Ultrasound

• Ice Compression Therapy

Our team works four days a week, no evenings, weekends, or emergencies. We offer a competitive compensation package that includes Health, Dental, and Vision insurance, a 401 (K) contribution, a Continuing Education Budget, and more. Pay will be based on experience level.

You will work alongside one DACVSMR (part-time), two rehabilitation-certified technicians, registered technicians, assistants, a dedicated client service representative, and an experienced practice manager.

Momentum VSMR is located in the same building as Canine Rehabilitation Institute (CRI) , a bustling education program for veterinarians, physical therapists, occupational therapists, veterinary technicians, and assistants. Our dedication to education spills over into Momentum, where we offer on-site internship opportunities to our students.

Qualifications:

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited institution

• Missouri state licensure to practice veterinary medicine

• Rehabilitation Certification

• Would also consider Non-Traditional ACVSMR Resident

• Acupuncture or IVAPM (CVPP) certified is a bonus but not required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $125,000.00 per year (dependent on experience level)

Job Description: We are seeking a certified veterinary rehab therapist/acupuncturist to join our rehab team. We are a small team (2 PTs) located in Lakewood, Colorado (a suburb of Denver) that provides rehab to our furry friends. We see a variety of patients, including orthopedic and neurologic. We have a wonderful and bright space and positive energy. We are looking for someone who does rehab and acupuncture (electroacupuncture a plus) to join us for a couple of days or ½ days a week (we are flexible with the number of hours and schedule).
