Course Description
This three (3) day course will advance the basic manual skills learned in the CCRT certification program to a higher level. This practical and case-oriented course will strongly emphasize the spine and will focus on advanced joint mobilization techniques of the extremities. Participants will receive ample hands-on experience with dogs on site.

Course Eligibility:
Licensed veterinarians and physical therapists
- Must have successfully completed their CCRT
Professionals certified in canine rehabilitation by one of the following programs:
- VAHL (CCRP)
- Healing Oasis (VMRT)
- Chi Institute (CCRV)
- Northeast Seminars (CCAT)
- Must have also completed CRI's Clinical Skills & Apps course

Course Curriculum:
This course offers a deep dive into the science and clinical application of manual therapy techniques for canine rehabilitation.
- The Science of Manual Therapy
Explore the current research and scientific principles supporting manual therapy in veterinary rehabilitation. Understand how these techniques influence tissue health and mobility. - Joint Kinematics & Biomechanics
Study the movement and mechanical function of spinal and extremity joints. Learn how these principles guide safe and effective treatment. - Joint Evaluation Skills
Develop hands-on skills to assess joint function, identify restrictions, and detect abnormal movement in the spine and limbs. - Indications & Contraindications
Learn when manual therapy is appropriate—and when it’s not. Gain the confidence to evaluate risk and adjust treatment plans accordingly. - Advanced Mobilization Techniques
Refine your approach with advanced joint mobilization methods tailored to specific conditions and patient presentations. - Case Studies in Practice
Apply your knowledge through real-world case studies that reinforce clinical reasoning and treatment planning.

In-Person: 3 days at Het Waterhof in Sint-Truiden, Belgium
In-Person Daily Hours:
- Days 1 - 2: 8:00am-5:00pm Central European Time (CET)
- Day 3: 8:00am-12:00pm Central European Time (CET)
- The last day of class ends early to allow students the opportunity to return home that evening. Do not make airline reservations that require you to depart class before 12:00 P.M.
